Associates have updated the
Cost Analysis for Texas Public Schools based on
the most recent audited financial data available. The report
predicts
that by 2007, real dollar population adjusted revenue for Texas
public schools is projected to fall to roughly pre-1997 levels.
Table 6 shows a drop of $356 per student in General Fund
expenditures when comparing 2003-04 costs to inflation adjusted
