TASBO LIFE MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS 

To be considered for a TASBO Life Membership, TASBO must receive a letter from a member nominating someone, or a letter from the person who wishes to be considered for a Life Membership, requesting approval by the Board for a Life Membership.  Please include in the letter:

Date of retirement (m/d/y)
District member retired from
Home address
Home phone
Home email address

Honorary life membership may be awarded by the Board of Directors if the following requirements are satisfied: 

1.   The honoree was a voting member of TASBO at the time of retirement with a minimum of 10 years as a voting member, and membership dues are current for the year of retirement. 

2.  Has had, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, a record of outstanding service in the educational profession. 

3.   Approval of a majority of the Board of Directors present at a regularly called meeting. 

All former members are eligible for honorary life membership if they meet the foregoing criteria.
