State Minimum Salary Schedule updated 8/27/09

TEA has posted a revision to the2009-2010 state minimum salary schedule. 

Read the explanatory information on this page carefully.  While the state minimum is the absolute minimum that teachers and certain other professionals can be paid, House Bill 3646 also requires that the actual salary paid be at least $80 per month or a larger amount calculated from $60 times the district’s Weighted ADA more than the actual local salary schedule for 2008-2009. 

On the revised schedule, the amounts and the years of experience on each step are the same as in 2008-2009.  (On the previously posted schedule, $80 had been added to each monthly salary.)
