The Texas Education Agency posted a TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED letter that states, Student Success Initiative funding for school years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 is replacing the previous formula funding for the Accelerated Reading Instruction/Accelerated Math Instruction (ARI/AMI), and Intensive Reading Instruction/Intensive Math Instruction (IRI/IMI) grant programs.  The Student Success Initiative will be in the amount of $151,999,650 per annum for these school years. The TEA letter also stated that details about applying for these funds will be provided as soon as they become available. 

School Business Officials are advised to carefully review their operating budgets for these areas.
