Student Attendance Accounting Handbook FAQ |

Yesterday, the Texas Education Agency posted a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document for the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook.
The FAQs cover the following areas:
It is essential that school district central office staff and campus staff, including principals, campus attendance secretaries, PEIMS coordinators and special program managers/administrators, carefully review the Handbook and the FAQs. Failure to correctly apply the rules in the Handbook in reporting student and other PEIMS data may result in funding errors (including underfunding of state aid) and/or financial penalties due to various compliance issues.
