Required Internet Posting - ARRA Infrastructure Investments PDF Print E-mail

3/22/10

Last Friday, the TEA posted an announcement that school districts are required to complete and post certifications for infrastructure investments funded from either the State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF) or the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Part B (IDEA-B).  A certification is required to be posted on the school district's web site containing information described in the TEA guidance documents referenced below and include a link within the local certification document to Recovery.gov.  Also, a certification form is required to be completed in  TEA’s Expenditure Reporting (ER) system and the certifying school official will confirm in ER that a separate certification posting on the school district's web site was done.

The TEA announcement also stated that the certifications are to be done as soon as possible after the infrastructure investments were approved by TEA.  Approval by TEA occurs after the grant application is approved and the Notice of Grant Award (NOGA) is received by the school district.
