The Texas Education Agency announced yesterday that the Commissioner of Education's final decisions for the state accountability system for 2010 and 2011 (for both standard and alternative education accountability procedures) have been released and can be viewed at:

The 2010 Accountability Manual is planned to be released by the end of May 2010.

The 2010 accountability ratings are to be released on July 30, 2010.  The ratings for 2010 will reflect increased rigor for TAKS performance for recognized (5% increase for all five subjects) and academically acceptable ratings (5% increase for science and mathematics).
