ARRA SFSF - Year 2 Application Info Posted by TEA |

On May 17, 2010, information about the grant application for year 2 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF) was posted by the Texas Education Agency. According to the announcement, the grant application will be available on or about Monday June 21, 2010. ARRA SFSF is part of the Foundation School Program allotment and the application must be completed in order to receive full FSP funding for school year 2010-2011.

The announcement also disclosed that TEA posted a model Section 1511 Infrastructure Investment Certification Template. A infrastructure investment certification, if applicable, must be posted on the school district’s web site in addition to the school district’s posting in the TEA’s ER system. If applicable due to an infrastructure investment, your school district will need to review the TEA's model and assess if revisions are necessary to the certificate posted on the school district’s web site.
