The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality - Tax Relief for Pollution Control Property Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet on June 4, 2010, at 10:00 AM, at the TCEQ Austin Headquarters Building, 12100 Park 35 Circle, Building E, Room 201 S.    The agenda includes  items relating to rules for the following:

  • "Change in ownership
  • Calculation of partial use determinations
  • Discussion of TCEQ Rule Concepts for the June 30th Commission agenda"

The ongoing developments concerning property tax exemptions for pollution control property are being followed by many school district officials because of potential future implications for funding for public education, in addition to concerns voiced about potential refunds for property tax collections for the current and prior fiscal years.
