The Texas Education Agency is encouraging school districts and charter schools to submit  their American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF) applications for school year 2010-2011 as early as possible.  Filing prior to the August 23rd deadline benefits TEA's efforts to turnaround the applications as soon as possible.  A TEA notice on this topic stated, "The State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF) Year 2 (2010-2011) eGrant application due date is August 23, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. TEA is processing applications on a rolling basis in the order received and encourages LEAs to submit their applications as early as possible."
