Yesterday, the Texas Education Agency released the financial accountability ratings for school districts and charter schools. This was the first year for charter school financial ratings. Superior Achievement ratings were received by 82% of the school districts. Only eight school districts reported a deficit fund balance in the General Fund, which resulted in Substandard Achievement ratings. 2008-2009 School District Rating Counts
