The Texas Education Agency announced today that the pupil projection subsystem of the FSP System will be open for review and update on Friday, October 1, 2010.  The Pupil Projections subsystem of the FSP System is opened in October of even-numbered years for school districts to review and update projections. The announcement also stated, "The Pupil Projections subsystem will remain open for review and update of projections from Friday, October 1, 2010, through Friday, December 17, 2010. These projections are used to develop estimates for the Texas Legislature related to the cost of public education for the next biennium. The projections are due to the legislature no later than March 1 of each odd-numbered year. To assist school districts in this effort, the TASBO Pupil Projection Template has been updated for the 2010-2011 year.

From the TASBO Home Page, select Resources→Tools Templates→Pupil Projection Template and click on the link to save the template to your computer before using the tool.

The template requires Microsoft Excel and is available in 97-2003 format and in 2007 Macro Enable Workbook format.
