The Texas Education Agency posted a TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED letter that is requesting additional information from certain school districts and open enrollment charter schools regarding the accuracy of data elements related to NCLB.   Variance reports developed for this purpose are to be accessed and reviewed in the NCLB Reports application on the Texas Education Agency Secure Environment (TEASE).  If the variance report indicates a greater than 25% variance in one or more NCLB program areas, school officials are requested to review the data and complete the appropriate response template(s).  The completed templates are to be filed no later than January 12, 2011.  Additionally, if the data reported in the most recent compliance report are incorrect, school officials are asked to amend the compliance report by January 12, 2011.  The data elements in question are described in a template containing 12 worksheets that is accessible at
