The Senate Bill 6 Conference Committee Report was released this morning.  Senate Bill 6 contains provisions for the foundation curriculum, instructional materials allotment, and the adoption, review and purchase of instructional materials and technological equipment for public schools.  Each school district will be required to annually certify that the district's instructional materials allotment has been used only for allowable expenses in Texas Education Code, Section 31.0211.
