The Texas Education Agency extended the deadline to Friday July 8, 2011, to submit amendments to the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 ARRA Title XIV State Fiscal Stabilization Funds (SFSF) grants.  The announcement also stated, "Please refer to Errata #4 for the 2009-2010 ARRA Title XIV State Fiscal Stabilization Funds (SFSF) grant and Errata #2 for the 2010-2011 ARRA Title XIV State Fiscal Stabilization Funds (SFSF) grant for additional information."  The TEA is providing this atypical window for a retroactive amendment to provide school districts and open-enrollment charter schools an opportunity to address issues that may result in the refund of ARRA SFSF monies to the Texas Education Agency as a result of compliance findings from any future monitoring or auditing activities.
