ARRA Funds Must be Obligated by Project End Date

School districts were reminded that American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) funds must be obligated by the deadlines listed in the TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED letter dated July 25, 2011 or the funds will be lapsed and returned to the US Department of Education. Expenditures must be incurred no latter than the applicable project end date and be reported for reimbursement prior to the due dates for the applicable final and revised final expenditure report. The grant programs and deadlines are listed below.
