The Texas Education Agency has posted the 2011-2012 Student Attendance Accounting Handbook (SAAH).  The annual updates to the 292 page Handbook need to be reviewed very carefully because noncompliance with the rules published in the Handbook can result in refunds of state aid.  TEA also announced that the 2011–2012 Change Document, providing details for changes in the SAAH, will be published later this week.  Until the Change Document is published, school officials may review significant changes listed in Section 1.8 of the SAAH.
