The Texas Education Agency recently announced school districts and open-enrollment charter schools will be provided a continuous correction period from August 8 through September 2, 2011 for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Section 1512 quarterly report for the quarter that ended June 30, 2011.  The correction period provides an opportunity to correct data submitted to TEA for the quarter.  Action is not necessary if the school district or fiscal agent has not identified data that needs to be corrected.

TEA's announcement also covered other ARRA-related topics, including:

• Reporting expenditures for infrastructure investments in the ARRA Section 1512 report
• Central Contractor Registration (CCR) annual renewal
• ARRA Section 1511 Infrastructure Investment Reports
• Enforcement actions related to ARRA requirements
