Today, the Texas Education Agency released information that will be of interest to school districts eligible for adjustments to certain state aid revenue reduction provisions for school years 2011-2012 and 2012-2013. A school district that does not receive funding for Additional State Aid for Tax Reduction (ASATR) under Texas Education Code Section 42.2516 that meets certain qualifying criteria will be eligible for adjustments to the relative amounts that state aid is reduced for the two school years. The regular program adjustment factor (RPAF) is set at 0.9239 for the 2011–2012 school year and 0.98 for the 2012–2013 school year. Eligible school districts may apply to have the RPAF set at 0.95195 for both years.
