This week, the Texas Education Agency communicated updated guidelines for unexpended fiscal year 2011 technology allotment funds.  The guidelines state the unexpended balances in fund code 411 related to funds received in 2010-2011 must be expended by August 31, 2012 and may be expended according to the guidelines and rules in effect for school year 2010-2011.  Any settle up funds received in school year 2011-2012 are included in the Instructional Materials Allotment that is accounted for under Fund Code 410, Instructional Materials Allotment.
