Today, the Texas Education Agency Office of School Finance announced school year 2011-12 Route Service Report data are being requested for state aid funding calculations.  No action is necessary if your school district or charter school is not participating in the School Transportation Allotment program.

Districts will be able to access the Foundation School Program (FSP) System for input of the 2011-2012 Route Service Report data on June 1, 2012.  The deadline for the report in SENT status is July 1, 2012. 

Public school officials are requested to review Instructions for Completing the School Transportation Route Services Report for school year 2011-2012, before compiling and filing the report in the online FSP System.  The instructions for submitting the Route Service Report data are found on the School Transportation Funding web page at

The TEA notice also stated, “We highly recommend using ‘Internet Explorer 8’ as your browser when entering data into the report.  Use of any other browser may result in an inability to open and access all needed data screens.”

The notice also stated, " If you have questions or if you need more information, contact the School Transportation Allotment program administrators in the Texas Education Agency's Office of School Finance:”
