For more than a decade Dr. Amanda Brownson has presented at TASBO events, beginning with her time with Moak, Casey & Associates, where she provided analysis and updates related to school finance. She went on to serve as the Director of State Funding for the Texas Education Agency and then became the Director of Research and Policy for Raise Your Hand Texas. Now with TASBO, Amanda utilizes her deep knowledge of the intricacies of the school finance formulas as she works with members daily to deepen their understanding of the impact of the school finance formula on their district’s unique circumstances.
