Sara Dempsey

Partner Sara Dempsey, CPA, leads Weaver’s practice serving governmental and not-for-profit entities. With 17 years of experience focused on school districts, cities, special districts and not-for-profit organizations, Sara serves on the AICPA State and Local Government Expert Panel. She is also a member of the GFOA Special Review Committee that evaluates comprehensive annual financial reports for compliance with the GFOA Certificate of Achievement standards.
