One of our core values is to engage in a collaborative culture. By partnering with other educational entities, we can facilitate more learning opportunities for school finance & operations professionals. Our two ongoing educational relationships are with Concordia University Texas and The National Alliance for Insurance Education.

Earn Your MBA in School Finance & Operations

Through the Concordia University Texas partnership, members can earn an MBA with a concentration in school finance and operations.

The concentration is designed for those aspiring to take on leadership roles in the central office of an educational setting. Aside from the core MBA courses, students will take four specialty courses specifically tailored for the K-12 education environment. TASBO members receive a tuition discount at a per credit hour rate.

The blended nature of the program is such that field work will be embedded into the courses giving students observational knowledge of how school districts function. There will be activities woven into TASBO conferences, various networking events and participation in market research in your area.

Equivalent Credit Opportunity with The National Alliance

If you are responsible for any of your school's safety & risk management functions, it is vital to have a solid understanding of school risk. We partnered with The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research to offer the Certified School Risk Managers Program (CSRM).

Through an agreement with The National Alliance, TASBO course equivalencies may be granted for any two of the three CSRM courses; however, TASBO courses do not satisfy CSRM certification requirements.
