What we once have enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us. – Helen Keller

Sharon Gail Motley Eaves, RTSBA, CPA, SFO was a devout mom, doting Mimi, a loving wife, an accountant, and CPA. Sharon grew up in Aurora, TX, and lived in Denton, Justin, Bastrop, and lastly Bocas del Toro, Panama. She earned her undergraduate degree in accounting at The University of North Texas and her Master of Accountancy at Texas State University. She retired as General Manager of Budget and Finance for Houston ISD and was actively involved with TASBO, serving on the Board from 2002-2008. Sharon devoted time and materials in her retired years to the Bocas School Project assisting children in the Bocas del Toro archipelago.

Tonya Little graduated from Baylor University with a BA in Accounting, then completed her CPA degree. She started in corporate accounting at a CPA firm and then began working at Huffman ISD as an accountant. Tonya went on to work as the Controller for Klein ISD. She was active in TASBO and served as the Gulf Coast TASBO president from 2012-2014. Tonya retired from Klein ISD in 2017 to pursue her favorite position as a stay-at-home mom where she was able to volunteer and be there to support her beloved children in every aspect of their everyday lives. A job that she continued to her last day. Her daughter-in-law, Katie Little says, “She was the most positive, supportive, and optimistic person I had ever met. She encouraged me to dream and to push through tough times, and she is the reason that I went into school district accounting. She was an amazing individual, and I strive every day to be even a fraction of who she was.”
