On July 18, Past Board President David Garcia passed away. I had the privilege of attending high school with David and considered him a friend for many years. He was recognized by his senior class as having the “Best Personality”, a trait which he carried throughout his career.

David was a respected leader in TASBO and in the school business profession and absolutely one of the kindest persons I have ever known. To say I will miss him terribly is an understatement. Thank you David for your contributions to school business. You have left a legacy of service and a path forward for all of us.
