With the increase in new PIC Codes, and spending percentage requirements varying by program, keeping track of whether you are meeting required spending targets has become an increasing challenge.

The table below shows you which codes are counted for state special program spending compliance and what percent of your district's annual allotment must be coded to the relevant program.

* PIC 43 is for dyslexia special education services. Our understanding is that this WILL be counted for dyslexia, but WILL NOT be counted for state special education compliance. However, it WILL be considered in your district's maintenance of effort as it relates to IDEA, so be mindful of that when coding expenditures here.
