How did you get your start in school business?

My start was transitioning out of the Army as a Supply Chain Management Coordinator into a career in school business.

What do you like best about your job and where you work?

I love that we are committed to our student's success and can provide the support needed to develop lifelong learners.

Why do you recommend TASBO to your colleagues? What programs and services do you find helpful?

The online training and face-to-face education opportunities are very helpful and allow you to network with other districts on lessons learned and best practices.

What is your favorite TASBO training to attend and why?

The Engage Conference was definitely my favorite TASBO training I have attended. It not only helped me engage with other districts, but it also allowed me to stay up to date with best practices and new information.

Who has inspired you in your career?

1SG Brown inspired me to be the best logistician, ultimately leading me into the logistics and finance world. I could not see myself doing anything else. I love my career, and I am looking forward to what is next to come.

What was your childhood dream job?

To become a beautician or a teacher.

Tell us one thing people would be surprised to know about you:

I enjoy weightlifting and exercising.

What's something you're looking forward to in the future?

I am looking forward to becoming a Procurement Director in the near future.

You are working towards your certification; can you tell us what it means to you to be TASBO certified?

I am currently applying for my certification. It allows me to be even more marketable as I excel in my career.

I am happy to be a part of such a fantastic organization! TASBO will aid anyone in school business to be successful. I recommend that people become members and experience how amazing this organization can be.
