We honored Deputy Executive Director Becky Bunte with the inaugural Legacy Award at the 2025 TASBO Engage Conference in Austin. The goal of this new awards program is to recognize the achievements of members who left a legacy in public education and the school business profession. The awards program is sponsored by our Strategic Partner Equitable.
"This award is an honor bestowed by the board of directors, recognizing members annually whose remarkable careers demand recognition," said 2025-26 Board President Heather Wilson. "This year, we felt one person deserved the award and that person is retiring TASBO Deputy Executive Director Becky Bunte."
