Ashley Franco, TASBO Education Director, received a Rising Lone Stars Award at the 2024 TSAE New Ideas Conference, while TASBO Executive Director Tracy Ginsburg was also honored for completing her term on the TSAE Board of Directors.
At the 2024 New Ideas Annual Conference, the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) honored TASBO Education Director Ashley Franco with a Rising Lone Stars Award. This program recognizes emerging association leaders across Texas.
“Ashley is an invaluable member of our team. Her creativity, organization, and ability to craft engaging and impactful content have transformed how we connect with our members,” said TASBO Executive Director Tracy Ginsburg (pictured with Ashley). “We’re incredibly proud of her recognition by TSAE and excited to see her continue to make waves in the association community.”
Ashley has over 10 years of experience in association management, holding roles in both education and membership at TASBO and the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA). She finds working in non-profits that support public education particularly rewarding, as it allows her to give back to the educators who shaped her life.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys cooking, baking sourdough, and attending concerts. In her free time, she loves spending time with her “wingmen:” her husband of four years, Gustavo (aka Goose), and their two pups, Maverick and Jet.
At the TSAE conference, this year’s Rising Lone Stars Award recipients included Ashley Franco, Ryan Byrd, CAE, Katy McDowall, Sharna Pascolo, Angie Rector, and Shannon Roberts, CAE.
Additionally, TASBO Executive Director Tracy Ginsburg was honored at the reception as she concluded her term on the TSAE Board of Directors.
