At the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) Annual New Ideas Conference in Corpus Christi, they honored TASBO’s own Becky Faulk with its Young Professional Leadership Award. This award honors a TSAE member for professional achievement during their early years of TSAE membership. They go beyond the call of duty in service to TSAE, encourage participation and exemplify qualities of leadership and professionalism.

This past year, Becky was promoted to Director of Member Experience. She has worked in the association space for 10 years with an emphasis in membership. Before joining the TASBO team, she spent time with the Texas Court Reporters Association, TSAE, and then the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented.

Currently, Becky is responsible for member recruitment and retention and has consistently exceeded goals in both areas. Her enthusiasm for the lifecycle of the member is shown in her dedication to the TASBO Mentoring Program, the TASBO Connect member community, and in her role as the staff liaison to 25 regional TASBO Affiliates. Additionally, she is always looking for new and exciting ways to increase member engagement.

“With her dedication and enthusiasm, Becky Faulk has helped us set the standard for serving members and has transformed the member experience,” said Becky Bunte, Deputy Executive Director at TASBO. “I’m so proud of her for winning the Young Professional Award. She definitely deserves it.”
