TASBO's Justin Ables Honored with Rising Lone Stars Award

The TASBO Team celebrated Justin Ables' award at the TSAE New Ideas Annual Conference. This program recognizes emerging association leaders in Texas.

At the 2023 New Ideas Annual Conference, the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) honored TASBO Digital Content Manager Justin Ables, CAE with a Rising Lone Stars Award. This program recognizes emerging association leaders in our state.

"He's a tremendous asset on our marketing & communications team. I love his creativity and approach to projects. He has helped us enhance our brand and communications with our members.," said TASBO Executive Director Tracy Ginsburg (pictured with Justin). "We're really proud that he won this award from TSAE and look forward to seeing what he does next."

With nine years of experience in association management, Justin combines his creativity, strategic thinking, and passion for design to positively impact public education in Texas. He enjoys interacting with members and helping them tell their stories. He played a key part in helping launch the new TASBO Brand. He formerly served as an Account Manager for Strategic Association Management, where he worked with the Science Teachers Association of Texas and the Fast Growth School Coalition.

This month he is celebrating his nine-year anniversary with his spouse. Additionally, he has three kids: Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center the dog (aka Ladybird), and two cats Selena and Gomez.

At the TSAE conference, this year’s Rising Lone Star Award recipients were Justin Ables, CAE, Elisa Barnes, CAE, Kelsey Copeland, Christy Reynolds, and Tiffany Schwartz, CNAP.
