Mentor Programs

We offer free mentorship to TASBO members who are looking to grow in any of the following areas:

  • Business management
  • Information Technology
  • Maintenance and operations
  • Payroll
  • PEIMS
  • Personnel
  • Purchasing

TASBO coordinates online and in-person meetups and resource sharing between mentors and mentees.

Emerging Leaders

Our Emerging Leaders Program is designed to help new leaders build confidence, hone their communication skills, and develop an effective leadership style. We believe this training is critical for the future of our school districts. The Emerging Leaders program runs from June-December annually and each cohort is capped at 24 participants.

Bud to Boss

Bud to Boss is a 2-day workshop for school district employees who are promoted from within and looking to gain management experience. The workshop covers time management, building and managing a team, administering district policies, and other fundamentals to help you succeed.

Project Management

This interactive 2-day workshop lays out a process to help you manage projects on budget and on time. Come with a project in mind and we’ll work through activities, discussion, and templates to help you develop an action plan you can apply back at your district.
