The TASBO Award of Merit for Purchasing Operations recognizes Texas school districts, open-enrollment charter schools, and education services centers that are committed to following professional standards in the acquisition of goods and services.

The 2025 application is now open! The deadline to apply is November 1 at 5:00 PM CST.

The Online Application Process

An individual for each organization will use the TASBO registration site to begin the application process. Applicants will select the option for "New Application" or "Recertification". This registration and payment will begin your application process. Following your registration, you will receive an email with further instructions to provide TASBO with the required documentation.

New this year, all required documentation will be submitted through OpenWater. This software uses single sign-on with your member profile username and password. Collaborators can contribute to or review applications, and applications can be re-opened for changes any time prior to the application deadline.
