The TASBO affiliate, North Texas Facilities Services Association, donated $1,000 to the Foundation with proceeds from their annual golf tournament.
The TASBO Foundation administers the fundraising and giving for the Dr. Ed L. West Scholarship Fund. Proceeds are used to finance scholarships for school business officials. Most recently, the North Texas Facilities Services Association donated $1,000 to the Foundation with proceeds from their annual golf tournament.
The Foundation is funded through a combination of sources, such as:
- Affiliate contributions
- Fundraisers
- Individual contributions
- Members who donate their certification course stipends
- In memory or honor of others

Named after TASBO's first full-time executive director, the Dr. Ed L. West Scholarship Program is administered by the TASBO Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation. Since 2008, TASBO affiliates and individuals have donated close to $200,000 in support of the scholarship program. Each year TASBO accepts applications in the spring.
