State Aid Template

The primary source of state funding for Texas school districts is the Foundation School Program (FSP). This program ensures that all school districts, regardless of property wealth, receive "substantially equal access to similar revenue per student at similar tax effort."

State Aid Template

A template developed by Omar Garcia, BOSC, Inc. is designed to allow districts to estimate state aid. The Excel template is designed to help develop annual budgets, monitor over/under state aid payments during the year, and for long-range planning, as it typically gives users the ability to project state aid for at least four subsequent school years.
